75 Day Auto Flower Grow Guide
To grow your own at home, is a fun and meditative process.

Keep your plants well watered on hot days, and allow them to dry out when it’s cool.

The more you engage, the better.
Have fun and enjoy.

This is our step-by-step guide, to cultivating you own craft cannabis,
at home, using our Homegrown Kits.

*Reminder, you’ll need to bring or purchase your own soil to fill your grow pots.*

Begin by opening the package kit, place all items on a table and become oriented with them.
Find your SEED, HGRC SOIL FOOD, STARTER PODS, AND GROW POTS.

If you ordered more than one variety of seed, find them, and be aware of their difference.

FIRST, add your seed starter pods to a bowl of warm water. Let them soak until fully softened and expanded.

SECOND, grab your grow pots, soil, and HGRC soil food blend all together in one place. (Outside is best)
Begin filling your two gallon grow pots, with soil.
Once they’re ¾ full, add a couple handful of your soil food. Fill the rest of the pot with your soil. Once full,
sprinkle a bit more soil food on top.

Now, water the pot full of soil, be sure to fully saturate the soil all the way through.
Once watered, dig a small circular hole, in the center of the grow pot.
This is where we will plant the SEED STARTED POD, WITH THE SEED INSIDE.
Be sure the hole is 2x wider and deeper than the seed starting pod, so that the SEED & POD are completely under
the soil, but not buried too deep.

Next, grab your SEED STARTER POD, fully expanded and soft, and your SEED!
WAIT...
*Important step* IF YOU’VE ORDERED MORE THAN ONE STRAIN//VARIETY OF SEED*
Find your green plant markers, and use a sharpie to label the plant markers with the name/variety of seed you will
be planting, and place a labeled plant marker for each grow pot. This way, you don’t lose track of which seed is
which, once they’re planted.

Now, Grab your SEED & STARTER PODS

Plant one seed in the center of the STARTER POD. Then, place it in your pre dug hole in the grow pot, and cover it
with dirt, gently.
*Be sure, to place the proper plant marker with the correct strain/variety of seed you are planting, for each seed,
and for each grow pot. *If applicable.

Once you’ve planted all your seeds, very gently, add a bit more water to fully saturate the soil covering the seed
pod.

You need to be sure the SOIL AROUND THE SEED POD & THE SEED POD DOES NOT DRY OUT.
The whole area MUST stay wet entirely, during this phase.
The germination process takes from 3-5 days, for the seed to sprout, and the soil seed must stay wet/saturated
to ensure sprouting and growth. *A spray bottle of clean fresh water makes this easy.
Be very gentle, especially in this phase.

Now, you're planted! Congratulations.

As the plant grows bigger, the water needs will increase.
In this first 2-week period, it is imperative to not over water. In the first two weeks the plant will not need much.
Just be sure it doesn’t dry out.

In the next 2-3 weeks, expect the plant to stretch and grow taller, while establishing it’s roots beneath the soil.
These plants do best, outside, in a full sun area. The more sun, the better. Be sure to choose wisely where you
place the plant.

Expect your plants to grow bigger and stronger with each day.
Be sure they receive lots of sunshine, fresh air, a breeze, and is kept away from pets and animals.
If heavy weather or extreme temperatures are happening, be sure to look after your plants.
You can even move them inside, or to a covered area, until the weather passes.
As your plant(s) grow, and the roots expand wider and deeper throughout the grow pot, its water needs will
increase.

Be sure to check the moisture of the soil, every day, and expect to water your plants every 2/3 days.

Weeks 4-6, you’ll now see the cannabis flowers starting to form.
Enjoy the aroma & watch closely, as every day the plant will express more of her radiance and unique
characteristics.

Weeks 7-9
Your plant will be in full flower bloom, becoming dense, with a rich aroma and full of resinous crystal.
Enjoy this beautiful expression of the natural plant kingdom.
Allow your plants continue to ripen and become as dense and thick as possible.
It’s entirely possibly the plant may need 75-80 days or more weeks to completely ripen and be ready for harvest.
Harvesting too early would not be beneficial.

Look closely at your flowering buds.
When the milky white hairs begin to turn amber, surely its very close to ready.
When 50% or more of the hairy turn an amber-ish orange color, you know it's time.
More than 75% of the hairs turning amber, your plant may over ripen and diminish the quality of the cannabinoid
profile. Every grower is different here, and it’s all personal preference.

Now, you’re ready for harvest!
Preparing your drying space.
Ideally, your drying space should be clean, dark, dry, and protected from the elements.

The ability to control the climate, even minimally, will help preserve the quality of your flower buds.
Rule of thumb is 60% humidity, 60 degrees. Closest to this you can come, will preserve the cannabinoids.
The key is not to rush. Too hot, too fast, the buds will lose their potency and flavor.
Too cold and too slow, other non-desirable issues could arise.
60% humidity, 60 degrees, drying for 4-8 days is best.

Grab your harvest tools!
Using horticulture sheers or a similar tool you see fit, it’s time to cut down your plant.
From 1 inch above the soil, is where you’ll make the cut, harvesting the whole plant in just one go.
Give Thanks!
For yourself, the elements and the plant. This is truly a gift!

Bring your freshly harvested buds to your pre-prepared drying space, hang them upside down, using a coat hanger,
or by hanging a string from the ceiling and tying the string to the stalk of the upside-down hanging plant.
Be sure to properly have your plant free hanging, upside down.
Add a fan to the space if you can, air circulation is great.
Once 4-8 days has passed depending on your climate. It may be time to take your plant down and process it for
use.

A tell-tale sign, is that the branches, extending off the main plant stalk, “snap” when you bend them. They should
not be wet or chewy. When you bend the extending branches, a clean “crackle pop” should happen.

Now bring your plant to a space to process. A cutting board is great.
Use your scissors and cut all branches off the main stalk, and then break them down from there.
Once they’re small enough, it’s time to trim. Removing leaf is important for the curing process.
Take as much leaf off.

Last step! CURING.
Take all your trimmed buds, and place them in an air tight container, or glass jar.
This curing process will bring out the rich flavors in your flower buds.
Be sure to open the container every day for a few minutes for the air to circulate.
If you can wait a few days, great, if not, it’s time to try your flowers!
These buds can be rolled and smoked, inhaled from a pipe or bong, or vaporized.

Congratulations, and enjoy!
